1. Preliminary Meeting & site visit

After our initial phone discussion, we’ll arrange a visit to your location to gain insight into your requirements and familiarize ourselves with the area. At this meeting, it will give us the opportunity to discuss together into any concerns, preferences, and your vision for your outdoor living space. We encourage clients to share any images or inspirations they have. We find this extremely useful as it helps communicate what your inspiration is.

2. Site Survey

Before diving into the design work, it’s essential for us to conduct a survey of your existing outdoor space. This involves measuring and roughly sketching out the area to understand its dimensions and layout. During this process, we will also assess the site to gain insights into it’s unique features and potential challenges.

Once we have clear understanding of the space, we’ll carefully interpret your needs and preferences, combining them with our expertise and creative insights. This collaborative approach allows us to develop a proposal that aligns with your aspirations while leveraging our meticulous creativity to find better solution. By working together, we can create a functional and beautiful garden and landscape that enhances your outdoor living experience.

3. Landscape Design & Site Plan

The landscape design and site planning phase is fundamental to our process. Through collaboration, we create a comprehensive design for your dream garden and landscape. Once finalized, we’ll schedule a presentation to reveal the design, offering detailed documents and visuals of the proposed layout.

Our hand drawn design are complimented by detailed specifications, guiding the development of the site plan. This drawings, along with plant lists and other essential materials, offer a clear vision of how your final garden and landscape will appear. We ensure that every aspect of the design aligns with your preference and meets your expectations.

4. Installation

During the installation phase, from the initial preparation involving the creation of designated areas and pathways, moving earth, and planting, to the installation of water features, outdoor lighting, and finishing touches, you will witness your design comes to life. Charllote Gray will oversee the entire project to ensure the garden is constructed to the highest standards. Our collaboration with other sub-contractors consists of skilled, exceptionally hardworking, and trustworthy professionals who share our beliefs, vision, and attention to detail.

5. Maintenance & Ongoing-Change

After the garden has been installed it begins its life. The first two years, in particular, are very crucial for the successful establishment of your garden. We will prepare an easy-to-understand maintenance guide to help you care for your new garden. If you are simply to busy to look after your garden, CG GARDEN DESIGN will be happy to take care of the most essential garden maintenance. We will make certain that your garden brings pleasure to you and all who share it with you.
