ABOUT THE PROJECT
This layered property with stunning canyon views was such a joy to work on. We completely reimagined the old staircase, starting from scratch to create something that not only blend seamlessly with the existing driveway and patio but also ties the entire space together. The retaining walls were transformed into functional spaces with a kitchen garden and pollinator garden that enhance the beauty and productivity of the surrounding fruit trees. Two custom arbors now define the space and create a sense of entry, each planted with star jasmine vines that will eventually form a beautiful natural structure filled with fragrant blooms. The second arbor, visible from the house, draws you in and invite you to explore everything this garden has to offer.
To Make the space even more dynamic, we installed a color-changing lights that add a festive touch for celebrations, like the halloween-themed glow in this photos, while maintaining a cozy, inviting ambiance on regular nights. Picture the kids enjoying the well-lit playground, safely playing under the warm glow, while just across the yard, the firepit becomes the perfect spot for family to gather and relax together. With thoughtful design, natural privacy plantings, and versatile lighting, this garden has become a sanctuary that extends the beauty and usability of their property into every hour of the day.
